Pets? What do you have?

The other thread (about large dogs) got me thinking what does everyone else have for pets in there house?
Are they indoor or out?
Do you want more?

I will start; all the dogs and cats are spayed and neutered.

We have currently 3 dogs; Fonzy ~ 1 Beagle male, Bella ~ 1 pocket Beagle (mini) female, Tess ~ 1 red merle Australian Shepherd female. All indoor.

3 cats; 2 males, 1 female. Polar (solid white med hair, bi eyed, slightly loony male), Dermit (ginger, male, short hair), Kiwi (mostly white, dilute calico short hair) Mostly outdoor except in really bad weather. As we have one that likes to spray in the house.

3 female guinea pigs (Rhea, Penny & Bonny) my DS and I just call them "The Girlies"

8 horses (those are outside ) 1 stud colt (15 months) 3 Geldings & 4 Mares. The boys are Iggy, Chevy, Mo & Diesel the girls are Libby, Projnia, Belle & Eclipse. (We don't own Eclipse she is just boarding with us).

Plus a fully stocked fresh water 25 gallon fish tank.

Ooh can I come over and play?

Since moving to the city, we've had to cool it with the pets so we're down to two German Shepherds, 2 oscars in a 100gal and 2 goldfish in a 50gal
(all of the other guys, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, cats, rodents have all passed away and hubby won't allow me to replace them ) ...not that we would have room anyway...

My kids would be in heaven at your house.

Currently, we don't have any pets. One day we would like a chocolate lab (for DH) and a pug (for me)!

We have a female border collie/lab mix who is bigger than the average MALE lab. She's huge. She's all black with white on her chest, and she used to have some white on her paws as a puppy.

We also have 2 male cats. One who is all black with a few white specks on his chest, and a white patch between his hind legs on his belly - his name is Lucky. We didn't neuter him soon enough, and he mated with my mom's orange tabby to produce a HUGE male orange tabby cat (dark orange swirls on lighter orange fur, with some white), named Chirpy. It was meant to be a temporary name until we found him a home, but.... well, we took him home

I'd love to get DD some fish right now, and when she's older I'd definitely let her get a hamster/gerbil/mouse... some kind of rodent

We have a Germain Shorthaired Pointer that's an inside dog who thinks he's a small lap dog at times (Odin/Ody, he'll answer to both or O or Odster).... (he is very small - smaller than the avg female of the breed - 23" tall and ~65lbs). We also have a gekko lizard. She's cute and easy to care for. Would totally recommend it for people looking for a low maintenance pet.

We used to have a lot more pets - birds, fish, but they're gone and not getting replaced. One dog is quite enough work, I am not sure how you all do it with multiple animals!

We have one lionhead bunny (Aslan), one rat (Ratty), one tarantula (Ares), and one cat (Charlie) but the neighbour cat pretty much lives here too. His name is Charlie as well. And yes, I always want more animals!! LOL

Oh I would love to get a rat, they are such great pets! But with Alberta's laws you can't get them here. Maybe when DS gets older we will make a trip over to BC.
